Introducing Kwamua: roadside and vehicle assistance, on demand

Kwamua is now live. It's an on-demand marketplace that connects drivers with nearby, verified providers for roadside help (mechanics, towing, and tyre repair) bookable from one app rather than a phone tree of numbers saved from a previous breakdown.

A different kind of Adcoar system

Adcoar Tours, Adcoar Reach, and SwiftEdge ERP all serve an organisation: a tour operator, a school, a retailer. Kwamua is our first system built the other way round: it serves an individual driver in the moment something has gone wrong with their vehicle, and a provider trying to earn from being genuinely good at fixing it. Same standard, same team, different shape of problem.

What it actually does

A customer searches for help nearby (mechanic, towing, or tyre repair) and sees verified providers within their chosen radius, not just whoever answers the phone first. Once a booking is made, its status is visible end to end, from request through to completion, so there's no guessing whether help is actually coming. Customer and provider coordinate directly over in-app chat, with phone numbers kept private until both sides choose to unlock them.

Payments, handled properly

Providers subscribe and get paid through M-Pesa, built into the platform the same way it's built into SwiftEdge ERP: a first-class part of the system, not a bolted-on integration someone has to reconcile by hand later.

Why "verified" is the whole point

Roadside assistance has always existed informally: a mechanic's number passed along after a previous emergency, a towing operator found by asking around. That works until the person you'd normally call isn't reachable, and you're left searching for a stranger to trust with your vehicle at the worst possible moment. Kwamua's search only surfaces ID-verified providers, so that search doesn't start from zero trust every time.
